Helen Leech

Helen Leech's picture

Helen Leech has worked for five local authorities, and there’s not a lot she hasn’t done in public libraries, from running storytimes to managing a re-organisation. At one point, she even catalogued bricks. But throughout her career her key interest has always been in new technologies and the way that traditional library services translate into the online environment. She’s now working for Surrey Library Service, looking at the way the library service can use new tools to build a different relationship with customers. She’s part of two national ebook groups: the Society of Chief Librarians Digital / Ebook working party, and Shelf Free (www.shelffree.org.uk).
